I started out as a breaks DJ & producer, head of Re:Connect Records, and an original member of Future Funk Squad. Always having a wide taste in electronic music and beyond, I now take a much broader approach to DJing, incorporating all styles of beats.

I have been DJing since the late 90s, and have played across the globe both headlining and supporting world-renowned DJs alike, from Glastonbury to San Francisco’s Love Parade, and everything in between.

Although not currently active as a producer (but trying), my past output includes single releases on Re:Connect as well as remixes on En:Vision Recordings, MBN Records, Sound of Habib, Big Square, Aquasky’s 777 and Passenger labels, as well as Rennie Pilgrem’s TCR. 

On my return to live radio after a 10 year absence, I now present The PiDeck Sessions using a PiDeck (a Raspberry Pi based DVS, controlled by Serato control CDs on CDJs). For more info on the PiDeck visit pideck.com and see pics and videos on my Instagram. 

My show, which you can catch every Thursday on Cutters Choice Radio from 12pm til 2pm, has a very basic ethos – anything goes. Generally focusing on BPMs rather than musical genres, the shows start slower with disco, funk, soul and hip hop, moving up through house, breakbeat and drum and bass. It’s about all good tunes, old and new, with a basic plan to not play the same track twice (the only exception being newer tunes that deserve extra plays)
