There’s been far too much amazing music this year to have just 10 so I’ve picked a few out of the many tracks….
1 – Koreless – Black Rainbow
This is Bleep’s top album of the year and I’m in agreement thats its one of the best releases of the year!
2 – Squarepusher – Squarepusher Theme
Bit cheeky this one as its a re-release (this year to be fair) of an album from the 90’s but I don’t think id ever have a chance to put one of my favourite albums of all time in a top 10 of the year so here it is…
3 – DJ Seinfeld- Song For The Lonely
Amazing new album from the Swede full of great tunes but this is my fave
4 – Bicep – Apricots
Awesome live act and the new album didnt dissapoint! Probably my fave of the first few months.
5 – For Those I Love – I Have a Love (Overmono Remix)
Great album thats spawned even better remixes (I was tempted to include the Ela Minus one..)
6 – Jacques Greene – I Won’t
One of my favourite electronic producers released an album full of previously unreleased songs stretching his career and this is one of the best from it
7 – Ross From Friends – The Daisy
Songs from this were released ages before the actual album came out and what an album it is! I could have picked any from it but this one has stuck with me the strongest
8 – Overmono – Everything U Need
I dont think this duo have released a track I havn’t liked (or played on my show!) and this was the best this year in my opinion
9 – Kelly Lee Owens – Jeanette (Haider Remix)
Amazing Welsh DJ and producer whose second album went down a storm with a few of us at CCR! This is my favourite of the remixes from it
10 – Big Lad – Big Juggernaut Rave Party
How could I not include a track from one of the most prolific artists and producers of present times out there? Wayne Adams is a legend.
